Hi Carleen,
Old people hang out at libraries because the heating/airconditioning is free, and they can read or people watch for hours. Also if they are lucky there is probably a cafe in the library. In Whanga’s our new library has a cafe, lots of people come just to pass the time of day. Libraries are great places (but then I would say that)
